Having met billionaire Greyson Lockhart in the first book, Rachel Shaw is now married to the man as the second book opens. But problems are already arising, as Rachel fears that Greyson is starting to fall for his assistant Marja. Can Rachel ensure that her marriage survives?
This book is like Sara Fawkes’ Dominated by the Billionaire series in the sense that in both cases, I find the billionaire to be the least interesting character. Where this books scores slightly better, though, is in the character of Rachel, who provides the narrative drive, the elements of comedy, and of course the sexual tension.
This is a step up from the first book in the series, even if the change is enabled in part by a surprising and quite obvious shift in Rachel’s character. Nevertheless, if you like billionaire erotica, this is probably going to be right up your alley. If you don’t like billionaire erotica, well, you might be best advised to look elsewhere.
