Lucy Delacourt is heading to Paris in the sequel to Sara Fawkes’ hugely successful Anything He Wants. This time, Lucy has more or less sold her body (and perhaps her soul) to billionaire Jeremiah Hamilton, but she’s determined to set some boundaries and to avoid some of the worst excesses of Parisian life.
Of course, it’s not long before Lucy’s resolve is put to the test and as this fairly short novel progresses, she struggles to keep control of her body. Her attraction to Jeremiah sometimes seems a little unrealistic. After all, she seems to be very much certain about the limits she wants to set. But Jeremiah (we’re told, but never really shown) is so charismatic, it’s impossible to resist his demands.
The sex is hot, if a little predictable, and Anything He Wants 2 – All’s Fair moves along at a fairly brisk pace. The short length means there’s not a whole lot of time to pack in a plot, and I was certainly left hanging for the next part of the story. Nevertheless, for fans of the burgeoning ‘billionaire erotica’ genre, this is a key text.
