Having been saved from a burning building by a handsome firefighter, Megan Harris is determined not to fall in love again. But the firefighter, handsome Gabe Sullivan, is also struggling with his feelings, and soon it seems that the couple are on a romantic collision course.
The third book in The Sullivans, Can’t Help Falling in Love is essentially the story of people learning to love again. Megan lost her husband a few years ago, and she’s determined to protect both herself and her daughter. But her feelings for Gabe can’t be denied, and the novel traces their emotional – and at times rather steamy – courtship.
As with previous entries in this series, Can’t Help Falling in Love is a romantic drama with a strong heart. Both Megan and Gabe are sympathetic characters, and the novel retains a dramatic core that means it’s hard for anyone but the most hard-hearted of readers not to care about whether these two wounded individuals end up together.
