Paul Biba has quit as Editor-in-Chief of Teleread. In a blog post, Biba confirmed that he’s off and that he has no replacement position currently lined up.
The Teleread site, which is owned by NAPCO, was set up by David Rothman and has been around in one form or another since 1992. The aim of the site was originally to advocate improvements to national digital library systems, but it has grown to become a general resource for information about digital publishing.
In 2008, Rothman had a heart attack and he left Teleread in 2010 for LibraryCity when the NAPCO deal was signed. Paul Biba stayed on following that deal, until today. It’s not clear who’s going to be taking his place.
