Sara Fawkes’ Anything He Wants (Dominated by the Billionaire) series has been picked up by St. Martin’s Press. The company has acquired worldwide print and ebook rights and will exclusively release the fifth and final volume of the series in September, before going ahead with a compilation edition collecting together the entire set of books.
The first four volumes of the Anything He Wants (Dominated by the Billionaire) series were originally published between May and July 2012, quickly selling hundreds of thousands of copies and hitting the USA Today bestseller list. The series have become arguably the prime example of 2012′s rush for ‘billionaire erotica’, telling the story of an office temp who is seduced by a billionaire CEO.
Fawkes’ success is another sign that shortish, serialised stories are able to connect with readers. Each volume of the series has been sold at a relatively low price point, but with hundreds of thousands of sales there is clearly a public appetite for this type of release pattern.
