Harlequin MIRA has signed up Bella Andre’s popular series The Sullivans. The seven-figure deal covers print editions only, with Andre continuing to self-publish digital versions. Print editions of the first eight books in the series are expected to be released in Summer 2013.
The Sullivans has been a big hit in 2012, with each book focusing on different members of the Sullivan family. The series should be a good fit for Harlequin, which is one of the world’s leading publishers of romantic fiction.
At the same time, foreign rights to the series have been sold to publishers in France, Brazil and Portugal. The deals are the latest example of a self-published author being signed up by a traditional publisher on the strength of early sales.

Congratulations, Bella! Well deserved. You work hard.
