Tammara Webber has become the latest self-published author to land a deal with a traditional publishers. Webber has signed a deal with Penguin’s Berkeley Books and Penguin Young Readers Group for her novel Easy, which is – at the time of writing – sitting at #197 in the Amazon.com Kindle store.
Easy is the story of Jacqueline, who follows her boyfriend to college and then promptly breaks up with him. She soon finds herself drawn to two very different men, one of whom she has met online. Reviewing the book earlier this year, Chris Algernon wrote that “While Easy might seem lightweight, forgettable and throwaway, there’s undoubtedly some very strong writing here and Tammara Webber keeps the story going at a great pace” and gave it three stars.
The new deal means that Penguin will start publishing a digital version of the book from October 9th, while a paperback edition will follow in early November. You can read more about Easy at Webber’s website, here, and find details of her other books at her Amazon page.

It’s a great book. I’m happy for her and wish her every success.
